Version 1.6.2 changelog

Latest – 1.6.2

July 08, 2026

This release focuses on Content Hub editing and Etch Intelligence workflow improvements. You can now edit terms and taxonomies more directly in Content Hub, and Etch Intelligence can update existing loop definitions instead of only helping you inspect them.

It also brings significant Asset Manager improvements: nested collections, compression presets, and better drag-and-drop — along with fixes for several high-impact workflow issues.

1.6.2 Details

  • New: Etch Intelligence can now update existing loop definitions, including patching names and query arguments without overwriting untouched settings.
  • New: Terms in Content Hub now support inline editing, including selecting a parent term.
  • New: Taxonomies in Content Hub now support inline editing.
  • New: Taxonomies in Content Hub now include a settings dialog so you can edit an existing taxonomy from the list or context menu.
  • New: Asset Manager collections now support nesting — organize collections into parent/child groups up to two levels deep, with drag-and-drop reordering across nesting levels.
  • New: Asset Manager now supports compression presets — save, edit, and reuse your compression settings, with the last-used preset auto-applied on load.
  • Improvement: Etch Intelligence can now complete longer multi-step tasks before hitting its tool-use limit.
  • Improvement: Asset Manager drag-and-drop gives better visual feedback when dragging items into collections, and prevents the browser from opening files in new tabs on missed drops.
  • Fix: Content Hub no longer shows an unsaved changes prompt when you switch between posts or pages, which reduces the risk of accidental data loss.
  • Fix: Loops in the builder now render items with falsy values like 0, false, and empty strings instead of skipping them.
  • Fix: Asset Manager now rolls back optimistic UI changes when the server rejects an operation, preventing UI/server divergence until page reload.
